Dra. Fabiana Villa Alves

Graduated in Animal Science at the Federal University of Lavras in 2002. He defended his Ph.D. in Animal Science and Pastures by the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (ESALQ / USP) in 2007, with part of the studies carried out at the University of Pisa- Italy Ph.D. sandwich). She was a Professor at the State University of Mato Grosso in 2007. From 2008 to 2009 she was Research and Innovation Manager at Sementes Adriana Ltda. In 2009, he joined the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul, in Campo Grande, as a Regional Scientific Development Fellow. In 2010, she was Visiting Professor at the University of Padova - Italy. In October 2010 she joined the Brazilian Agricultural Research Company - Embrapa Gado de Corte, where she is a Level A Researcher in the area of ??Sustainable Production Systems. It has its research and extension projects focused on the themes of "well-being and ambience in production systems", with particular emphasis on systems integrating crop-livestock-forest (ILPF) and precision livestock farming.

He is the author of the books "Greater production with better environment for swine and bovine birds" and "Suinocultura, practical manual of the creation", published by the publisher Learn Easy of the group CPT. He works in the area of ??environment and animal welfare.

He has experience in Food Science and Technology, with emphasis on Meat and Fish Technology. She has worked professionally in meat processing, quality control in the meat industry and as a technical consultant in the development of meat products. She is currently a teacher and tutor of the group Tutorial Education Program in the Food Engineering course of the Federal University of Grande Dourados - MS. Research area development and characterization of new meat products and freshwater fish.
